The prerequisite for CHEM 111 has changed effective Fall 2016. If you intend to take CHEM 111 this fall or in the future, you will need to complete the new prerequisites for this course.

WHAT ARE THE NEW CHEM 111 PREREQUISITES?
Satisfactory completion of Chem Prep OR satisfactory completion of CHEM 105; AND
Satisfactory completion of MATH 118 or placement out of MATH 118 or higher

If you fulfill these prerequisites before June, you will be able to register for CHEM 111 before incoming freshmen do.

WHAT IS CHEM 105?
CHEM 105 is an eight week course in problem-solving in Chemistry. Please note that if you take CHEM 105 in Fall 2016, you will have to wait to take CHEM 111 the following semester.
