___Why did you receive this email?___
Your instructor has indicated that you are not yet meeting expectations in <ADDITIONAL_DETAIL>. This feedback is being provided early so you have plenty of time to improve your grade before the end of the semester. You may be surprised by this feedback, or you may already know exactly where you stand in your courses; the purpose of this notification is to ensure that you have the information you need about your course progress.
___Who sent this email?___
My name is Jill Putman, and I coordinate the Early Performance Feedback Program. The feedback for <ADDITIONAL_DETAIL> has been provided directly by your instructor, but I send the progress notifications on their behalf with information about campus resources and suggested next steps.
___What should you do next?___
Here are suggestions for steps you can take regarding this feedback:
1. If you have questions about this feedback or how to improve in <ADDITIONAL_DETAIL>, please contact your course instructors directly.
2. Check-in with your academic advisor to discuss academic success strategies and options to move forward successfully.
3. Attend U-Turn on March 1 or 2, which is an opportunity for you to meet 1-1 with a staff member to develop an academic action plan customized for your major, interests, and experience. Additional information about U-Turn will be sent by email later today! U-turn is offered virtually using Zoom on Tuesday, March 1st from 11am-4pm and in-person in the Lory Student Center on Wednesday, March 2nd from 10am-4pm.
4. Check out online resources for additional academic support, resources, and strategies: http://outreachandsupport.colostate.edu/StrategiesMovingForward
<PREFERRED_FIRST_NAME>, we care about you and your success at CSU, so please know that your academic advisor and other members of your CSU support network may also be in touch with you to offer support. We understand that you may be navigating unique challenges this spring, but we believe in your ability to meet the academic expectations in your classes. Take advantage of the CSU resources, and we hope to see you at U-Turn!
Sincerely,
Jill Putman
