Dear <PREFERRED_FIRST_NAME>,
Congratulations! By earning a 2.0 term GPA this term, you are able to continue at CSU. We are proud of your achievement and are glad you are able to remain at CSU! If you have not yet registered for fall semester, please consider doing so soon.
Please note that you remain on academic probation because your cumulative GPA is less than a 2.0. You now need to repair your overall CSU GPA to a *2.0 cumulative GPA* (or higher) in order to be in good academic standing and continue at CSU beyond the fall semester. According to the terms of the Scholastic Standards Policy which can be viewed at http://www.catalog.colostate.edu/ you will be dismissed if you do not regain good academic standing by the end of the fall semester.
Given your most recent improved academic performance, we are confident that you can continue on a path to even greater academic success. Remember that you may always reach out to your departmental Academic Success Coordinator/Advisor or the Collegiate Success Coach in the Collaborative for Student Achievement, for advice, support, or to discuss additional academic strategies and resources.
Additionally, there are valuable online resources available to you as a CSU student about strategies to improve your GPA including information on tutoring and study skills at http://www.undeclared.casa.colostate.edu/academic-support.aspx. and on Learning Programs at https://tilt.colostate.edu/learning/.
We wish you success in the positive steps we know you will take to remove yourself from probationary status by the end of the fall semester.
Sincerely,
Gaye G. DiGregorio
