Dear <PREFERRED_FIRST_NAME>,

Acknowledging that it has been a challenging time over the past few months and wanting to support your academic success at CSU, we are offering you the option of requesting a retroactive withdrawal for Spring 2021 and/or Summer 2021 for the term(s) in which you used all U’s, which gave you a 0.0 grade point average. A retroactive withdrawal will retroactively remove all the current grades and replace them with grades of W’s.

Considerations to making this decision are knowing that -
• Any costs associated with University enrollment, including tuition and fees, will not be refunded.
• Financial aid will not be adjusted; however, future eligibility may be impacted. For further information, contact Office of Financial Aid at (970) 491-6321.
• Notice for VETERANS: If you are receiving or have received GI Bill education benefits for the term from which you wish to withdraw, please contact the Veteran Benefits office (970-491-6340) before processing this request to understand the ramifications of a retroactive withdrawal.
